Design, planting, irrigation and weekly upkeep from a crew that has worked this clay and this heat for forty years.
Same family business, same city, since 1984.
Full liability and workers cover on every job.
Residential and commercial across Greater Houston.
We walk the site, then put the price in writing.
Safari Landscape has been one of the go-to landscapers in Houston since 1984. Marc Womack and our certified crew build outdoor spaces that look good on install day and still look good three summers later, which in this city is the harder part.
Houston is a tough place to grow anything. Gumbo clay holds water after a storm and cracks open in August. Humidity brings brown patch and chinch bugs. A hard freeze rolls through every few winters and takes out anything tropical that was planted without a plan. We design around all of that instead of pretending it is not happening, which is why our installs hold up.
We work on single-family homes, townhome courtyards, office parks, retail centers and HOA common areas across Houston, Cypress, Katy, Spring, Tomball, The Woodlands, Sugar Land and Memorial. Same crew, same standards, whether it is a 40 foot front bed or a 12 acre commercial site.
We plan the whole yard before a single plant goes in the ground. Layout, plant selection, hardscape, lighting and drainage, drawn out so you can see it first. Built for Houston sun, Houston rain and Houston clay.
Fresh flower beds rotated three or four times a year so your property never looks tired. Snapdragons and pansies for winter, begonias and vinca for summer heat. Popular with homes, offices and retail entrances.
New sprinkler system installation, repairs, valve and head replacement, drip lines for beds, and smart controllers that cut your water bill. We find the leak your last company could not.
Sod installation, mulch and bed builds, patios, walkways, retaining walls and drainage fixes. Full property makeovers from bare dirt to finished yard.
Acreage mowing, pasture cutting, brush clearing, lot prep and detention pond maintenance. When the job is too big for a walk-behind, we bring the tractor.
Weekly and bi-weekly lawn mowing across Houston. Cut, edge, line trim and blow down every visit. St. Augustine, Bermuda and Zoysia all cut at the right height.
One monthly plan that covers mowing, bed care, fertilization, pruning, mulch and irrigation checks. Set it and stop thinking about the yard.
No copy-paste yards. We ask how you actually use the space, then design for that.
We come out, walk the property, measure and give you a written price. No charge, no pressure.
Trained, uniformed and supervised. The same faces show up every week.
Plant choices, grading and drainage that hold up through Gulf Coast storms and August drought.
Clean lines, low-voltage lighting, water features and planting that suits how Houston homes look today.
Since 1984, mostly on word of mouth. Our clients stay with us for decades.
Our yard sits on Windfern Road in northwest Houston, so we cover the whole metro without long drive times. Most of our work is inside Harris County, and we take projects in Montgomery, Fort Bend and Waller counties when the job fits.
Tell us the property and what is bothering you. Takes two minutes.
We come out and look at the soil, drainage, sun exposure and what is already growing. No charge.

October through March gives new plantings and sod the best conditions to establish before the summer heat arrives. We install year round, but summer projects need extra watering while they take.
About half our work is commercial: office parks, retail centers and HOA common areas. We carry commercial insurance and provide certificates of insurance for property managers.
St. Augustine handles shade and humidity best, which is why most Houston yards run it. Bermuda performs well in full sun and high-traffic areas but struggles in shade. Zoysia sits between the two, denser and slower growing.
Weekly from March through October during peak growth, then every two weeks from November through February. Cutting weekly avoids the scalped look that comes from taking off too much blade height at once.
Safari Landscape is licensed and carries full liability and workers compensation insurance. We can send a certificate of insurance before work starts.
Every quote is free. We come to the property, take measurements, look at drainage and soil, and send a written price with no obligation.
